Same fixed camera, same clay look, same bouncy tune underneath. - **1–2 photos** - **15 seconds** - **9:16 vertical** - **30 fps** - **Original sound** *Fifteen seconds, one fixed take, the reel's own cartoon tune underneath.* ## What you get back One continuous shot from counter height, no cuts. The coffee lands beside the mug instead of in it, the milk goes everywhere, the thumb comes up, and then a long rubbery arm stretches the width of the kitchen to pick the mug up. Your photos replace the two clay characters; the kitchen, the mug, the counter and the mess stay exactly as they are. ![The one who pours](https://tiny-desk-video.com/media/stretchy/seat-mrs.jpg) **The one who pours** One photo, face clear, front-facing. ![The tall one](https://tiny-desk-video.com/media/stretchy/seat-mr.jpg) **The tall one** One photo, face clear. Best seat if you only have one photo. ### **Three frames from the clip** The miss, the flood, the stretch. Only the two clay faces change. ![0–4 s: the coffee lands beside the mug, the tall one leans in](https://tiny-desk-video.com/media/stretchy/frame-1.jpg) *0–4 s: the coffee lands beside the mug, the tall one leans in* ![8.5–11 s: the milk floods the counter and the thumb comes up](https://tiny-desk-video.com/media/stretchy/frame-2.jpg) *8.5–11 s: the milk floods the counter and the thumb comes up* ![11–15 s: a long arm stretches across and picks the mug up](https://tiny-desk-video.com/media/stretchy/frame-3.jpg) *11–15 s: a long arm stretches across and picks the mug up* ## What is the Mr and Mrs Stretchy trend? Mr and Mrs Stretchy is a pair of AI-made clay cartoon characters from the TikTok channel mr\_.stretchy, which calls itself “little stories from a magical AI world”. He is very tall and lanky with spiky hair, ears like satellite dishes and a nose you could pull like taffy; she wears a floral headscarf and a pink cardigan. Their home is a cosy cottage with sage-green kitchen cabinets, and their skits are ordinary couple life pushed until it goes rubbery. The clip everyone copies is the coffee one, posted on 27 October 2026 and captioned “Please help me”: she pours the coffee and it lands on the counter beside the mug, then she pours the milk and floods the whole counter while he watches, gives a stunned thumbs-up and finally stretches an arm the width of the kitchen to pick the mug up. It had 8.2 million plays and 722,000 likes within a week, and the channel passed 987,000 followers on 2 November. By 3 November the mr\_stretchy hashtag held 726 videos and 137.7 million views. By the end of October people were asking how to make their own version, and a closed CapCut template appeared on 29 October. Ours is the same idea done properly: the shot, the timing and the sound come from the reel, and the two clay characters become clay versions of the people in your photos. ## How to make the Mr and Mrs Stretchy video Two photos and one button. There is no prompt box, because the skit is already decided. 1. **1**### **Add one or two photos** The first photo takes the seat behind the counter on the left, the one who pours. The second takes the tall seat on the right. Leave the second empty and you fill the tall seat alone, with the original clay wife in the kitchen. 2. **2**### **Pick a resolution** 480p, 720p or 1080p. The credit cost sits on the button before you pay, and it does not change with the number of photos. 1080p is an AI upscale of the 720p master. 3. **3**### **Download and post** 15 seconds, 9:16, MP4, no watermark, with the reel's cartoon tune already under the picture. Keep the platform's AI label on when you post. ## Two seats: the one who pours, and the tall one Order is the whole casting decision. The left seat is the character who makes the mess; the right seat is closer to the camera, taller in frame, and owns the two best beats — the thumbs-up and the arm stretch. If you only have one photo, use it on the right. ![The one who pours](https://tiny-desk-video.com/media/stretchy/seat-mrs.jpg) **The one who pours** Behind the counter on the left: pours the coffee, misses the mug, floods the counter with milk. Replaces the clay wife. The kitchen and the mess stay. ![The tall one](https://tiny-desk-video.com/media/stretchy/seat-mr.jpg) **The tall one** Close to the camera on the right: leans in, gives the thumbs-up, stretches an arm across for the mug. Replaces the tall clay husband. The kitchen and the mess stay. ## What makes a good photo here The render turns you into clay, so it spends your photo on hair, skin tone, glasses and the shape of the face — not on detail it is about to caricature. ### **Works** - One person per photo, facing the camera, head and shoulders clear - A close, sharp photo — the clay look exaggerates whatever it is given - Even light from the front, no sunglasses and no hat over the hair - A couple photo is fine if you crop it into two, one face each ### **Does not work** - Two people left in one photo — they fuse into one clay face - A distant group shot, or a screenshot of a screenshot - A heavy beauty filter: the clay render keeps the smoothing - A photo of a celebrity or of someone who has not agreed Same portrait rules as every other effect on the site. One or two photos cost the same. | **Cast** | **480p ** | **720p ****Best value** | **1080p ** | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | **1–2 people**Same price for one photo or two | **7**credits | **16**credits | **26**credits | Priced per finished video, never per seat. 1080p is an AI upscale of the 720p master.
