We do not sell portraits or train a public model on them. - Videos and portraits are deleted 14 days after the job. What Tiny Desk AI collects when you sign in, add photos to a seat, or buy credits. Last updated 29 October 2026. ## Who runs this site Tiny Desk AI is an independent project at https://tiny-desk-video.com. It is not operated by, endorsed by, or affiliated with NPR, the Tiny Desk concert series, Charlie Wilson, The Gap Band, any record label, or any broadcaster. There is no email-verification step today. - **Portraits.** The one to five images you attach to seats. They are stored in our object storage, checked by an image-safety service, and sent to the video model that renders your job. - **Jobs and videos.** Job status, the seat layout you chose, the resolution, and the finished MP4 so you can watch and download it from My videos. - **Credits.** Pack purchases and the remaining balance on your account. - **Payments.** Card or wallet details are handled by our PCI-compliant payment processor when checkout is enabled. We receive payment status, not your full card number. - **Technical logs.** Errors needed to refund a failed render, diagnose an auth failure, or investigate abuse. ## Why we use it To create the account, run the render you asked for, deduct or refund credits, show My videos, and stop the studio being used with prohibited photos. We do not sell portraits to advertisers, and we do not use your face to train a public model. ## How long we keep it Account and credit balance last until you ask us to close the account. Uploaded portraits and finished videos expire 14 days after creation; the app marks them expired and returns a gone response, and object storage is purged on a schedule. Payment records follow our processor's standard retention rules. ## Who else sees it Rendering runs through our video-generation provider (APIMart and its upstream model), which receives the portraits and the reference clip needed for that job. Moderation runs through a separate image-safety service. Checkout runs through our payment processor when configured. Those processors see only what they need to run that step. ## Your choices You can stop adding photos and stop buying credits at any time. To delete your account and stored videos, email [help@tiny-desk-video.com](mailto:help@tiny-desk-video.com) from the address you sign in with. There is no self-serve reset or delete button. Uploading someone else's face without consent is also a [terms](https://tiny-desk-video.com/terms-of-service) issue, not only a privacy one. ## Children You must be 18 or older. This studio is not for photos of children. ## Cookies We use a session cookie to keep you signed in and a local-storage entry for the light / dark theme.
